My mission as a sonographer is to be dedicated to the education of sonography students and finding ways to give back to my community and the ultrasound profession. I created this scholarship for students like me (limited funds and academically successful) and sonographers like myself (satisfaction only came when I learned one more thing about sonography). Sonography is continuously growing. There is a place for students and sonographers to share this wonderful profession. We just have to be willing to think beyond the waves through education, observation, and dialog.
